A source spoke to All About the Tea about Candiace’s petition to the production team and revealed their response.
The source said that Candiace apparently reached out to the show’s executives and demanded Monique Samuels not be allowed to attend future cast events.
They said: “Candiace called up production and told them she was scared for her safety after the fight.”
“She demanded Monique be banned from all cast events or she [Candiace] would not participate.”

But apparently production didn’t comply with her demands.
The source said: “Production had several meetings to review the situation. The fact that Candiace ran to the police and refused to mediate the problem with Monique was a huge turn off to the team.”
“As a collective, they decided Monique would not be banned since Candiace started the fight.”

Their response apparently upset Candiace even more.
The source said: “Candiace burst into tears when production told her that Monique would not be banned.”
“She then requested permission from the network to not go on the cast trip to Portugal or attend cast events.”
But, according to the source, the production company told Candiace that she had a contract to follow and neither of them were excused from cast events.
Sun Online reached out to the production company for further comments.
The incident happened while the housewives were filming for season five[/caption]
Monique, from the Real Housewives of Potomac, was recently charged with assault after allegedly grabbing “Dillard by the hair and [pulling] her down.”
The altercation started when the housewives were having dinner and the two started to verbally fight.
Candiace then threw a drink at Monique, which resulted in Monique assaulting her.
The cast were filming scenes for season five at the time.

Monique is being charged with second-degree assault, according to court papers obtained by E! News.
People Magazine also reported that Monique could face jail time if found guilty.
Candiace’s lawyer told Us Weekly in a statement: “We only ask everyone to pray for our client Candiace and her family.”
“The physical assault, humiliation and emotional distress have all been very painful and difficult for Candiace as it would be for anyone attacked so viciously.”

Monique filed a counterclaim and her lawyer said: “My client was assaulted by someone known for her aggressive, threatening and belligerent conduct.”
“On this regard, Mrs. Samuels had no choice but to fully defend herself and she did.”
“Nevertheless, my client wants nothing more than to find peace with this situation but unfortunately the ability to do so through mediation has been denied.”
“Therefore, this summons is the proper next step for Mrs. Samuels and her right to self-defense.”

The Real Housewives’ friendship is officially non-existent after the fight.
Viewers might know that the two used to be close friends but their relationship went downhill during the fourth season.
When a fan asked Candiace over Instagram if they could work things out, Candiace responded with a puke emoji.
And when another fan wrote that they were rooting for the two, she said: “I was too, babe! But as the saying goes, when people show you who they are … believe them.”
