Antonio Williams, Nadira’s brother, has been arrested in connection with the murder at their home in Maryland, USA.

The 25-year-old has been taken into custody by local cops in the town of Clinton with authorities saying he has confessed to the killings.

Officers have said that it is one of the most horrific crime scenes they have ever encountered and were offered mental health support at the scene.

A family member found the bodies and notified the police

First responding officers were offered counselling at the scene

Williams lives on the same street as the house where the three girls were found.

He had reportedly been left there to look after the girls by his mum Andrena Kelley.

She reportedly discovered the bodies and then rang the police who found them dead at the scene.

Police said the bodies show signs of “blunt force trauma”.

Williams has been charged with three counts of first degree murder and three counts of second degree murder.

It is understood that he did not attempt to flee the scene and that he left his other sister, two, unharmed.

Neighbours claim they saw police taking two people out of the house in handcuffs

Police say they have not yet made arrests

Relatives of the girls have been contacted and police tweeted that it is committed to “make and arrest & determine the motive” for the horrific murders.

Counsellors were brought to the site to help first responding officers cope with the disturbing discovery.

Police department spokeswoman Jennifer Donelan said: “We are now in the midst of a major investigation into what happened to these children and who killed them.

“We have not determined who the person responsible is yet.”

“This is one of the most difficult scenes that our officers arrived on. We have counselling services here at the scene dealing with first arriving officers,” Donelan said, adding the neighbourhood is normally quiet.
